Dr. Vijay Chaudhary is an Emergency Physician and a key member of flying medic team. He is currently with  Department of Emergency and Pre-Hospital care at Nepal Mediciti. He did his MBBS from Nepal Medical College, MD in General Practice and Emergency Medicine from Institute of Medicine (IOM), Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, Kathmandu and International Fellowship in Emergency Medicine from Bern University Hospital and University of Bern, Switzerland. He also did Distance Fellowship in Diabetes Management (DFID) from Christian Medical College, Vellore, India.

Dr. Vijay has been directly involved in evacuation of more than 100 critically ill patients (ventilated/non-ventilated) by converted air ambulance helicopter from different hospitals of Nepal. He has also transferred patient aborad from Nepal. His training includes: 

• American College of Surgeons certified Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Jaipur, India

• American Heart Association (AHA) certified Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Kathmandu, Nepal

• Advanced inter-discipilinary Emergency Ultrasound , Dhulikhel Hospital, Kathmandu, Nepal

Dr. Vijay is also also one of the official instructors of Nepal Basic Life support (Nepal BLS).
