Mingma G. Sherpa hails from Rolwaling. On Januray 16, 2021, Mingma and several Nepali Climbers set the record for first ever Summit of Mount K2, the 2nd highest mountain in the planet. Not only did he make the history of making it to the top but he did it without supplemental oxygen in a pure alpine style climbing. Among 14 highest mountains in the planet, Mingma has summited all the 13  Mountains above and is amining for Sishapangma in Tibet, the only remianing mountain. Mingma is a core member of NMMF and our Team congratulates him of his efforts.
