Pemba Gelje Sherpa is an emerging mountain guide who has achieved enormous feats in young age. He is multiple times Everest Summiter and holds the world record for climbing Mt. Kanchenjunga in fastest time ever. Pemba is a Swiss trained Rescue Guide, Technical Coordinator and Educator with Nepal Mountain Academy and engages in numerous training activities besides his time in Mountaineering. He recently Donated land in his Native Village of Kharikhola to open a rock climbing wall to initiate and encourage youths to engage in outdoor climbing activities. He is a core member of Mountain Rescue Team at NMMF.
