Covid Patient Transfer from Nepalgunj to Kathmandu

Successful transfer of critically ill COVID patient from Nepalgunj to Kathmandu Star Hospital (Dec 23 2020):


Patient was a recently diagnosed COVID case with multiple underlying co-morbidities. Patient was diagnosed with radiographic moderate severity illness, and was under oxygen via face mask. The 2 hour flight from Kathmandu to Bheri Zonal Hospital Nepalgunj had a stopover at the Nepalgunj Airport for refueling. The trip back with the patient on-board was fortunately uneventful and the patient was successfully handed over to the medical team at Star Hospital.
